These cherymoya fruit grown in Hawaii using Humisolve USA in the fertilizer and foliar spray program
The program uses Humisolve in Several ways
as a prebud or "bark spray"
as the tree is starting to leaf out as a foliar application with
enough water to get good coverage of the plant . All Foliar applications
are at the same dilution and the dilution can not be altered
it is the optimum rate for cellular absorption, higher concentrations
are less effective . Foliar at the rate of 1.5 gm../20 L and
use enough water to get a good coverage to just before runoff
for best results.
Mixing humisolve with dry or liquid fertilizer
every time you fertilizer at about 2% of you fertilizer rate
such as 2 pound s of Humisolve with 100 pounds of NatraMin or
Urea or compounded fertilizers or urea based nitrogen solutions.
Regular foliar sprays through the growing
season which can be combined with fungicides ,fertilizers and
natural insecticides. Humisolve acts as an anti transparent reducing
water use by 20% or more and protecting against frost. drought
and UV damage.
In irrigated areas it is added to irrigation
water once ever 3 to four weeks or on sandy soil every other
irrigation.
Using a concentration of .01% or 1.5 gm..
to 10 L. in watering solutions or in irrigation.enough water
should be applied to saturate the soil to just past or just to
the end of the root zone. In rain fed areas the humisolve can
be mixed with dry fertilizer and top dressed at anytime through
the growing season for an extra boost of protection.
Foliar application of Humisolve as the
fruit is finished sizing and is building sugars, Humisolve is
number 1 fruit sweetening agent and at very low amount and at
low cost.
The concentration of the final humisolve
solution is a fixed constant the variable is how much water will
it take to get good spray coverage for the crop you are spraying.
This takes judgment based on experience, the idea is to cover
as much of the plant or tree as possible to just before the point
of run off. You need to prevent over spray that causes the solution
to break surface tension and roll off the leaf. Many people want
to use low volunm sprayers to apply humisolve, and this works
well but you do not compensate for the low volunm by using a
more concentrated solution. Keep in mind that any amount of humisolve
is going to help we have people reporting results with as little
as 15 gm../Ha. in a foliar application with low volume.for tree
and vine crops I prefer good high volunm coverage and apply nitrogen
as urea and Potassium as Potassium nitrate along with trace elements
and ammonium polyphosphate.
The quality of the water used is a factor
to carefully consider if you live in areas with hard water or
limey high calcium water. Humisolve is activated in our process
to be bio-active on a cellular level hence the importance of
the concentration , too concentrated and the molecules clump
and can not pass the cell membrane which it interacts with and
stimulates cellular metabolism. Calcium interferes with this
by binding to the humic structure and deactivating it again because
of this only low calcium water with low solids should be used.
Water from a water softener can be used the best water is clean
rain water filtered in a carbon filter to get the pesticides
and mercury out of it if you like in an industrial area that
burns coal or an area of intense pesticide use. The water that
enter a cell must be pure because if it carries metals or pesticides
it drastically alters cellular activities. Our seed treatment
product Bio Magic is made with filtered rain water caught with
a special catchment system in the pure upland rain forest of
Kona Hawaii, this is the only water we find safe enough for seed
soaking and for use as human supplement.
Many people ask how much to use on various
crops and really there are several answers all based on economics,
I say use as much as you can afford for the crop you are growing
with the ideal to provide an optimum amount. On high value crops
like grapes, coffee, citrus, the cost of optimum application
rates of humisolve is very low compared to the benefits and may
approach a 1-10 benefit ratio. This might mean 5 or 6 foliar
sprays per season and up to 20 Kg/Ha applied throughout the growing
season with the regular fertilizer program. This might be applied
in the irrigation water in 2 or 3 Kg. applications. or top or
side dressed at 2% of the dry fertilizer rate.
Humisolve is very effective at
increasing yield and quality of Coffee! See
pictures of coffee trees with and with out foliar application
of Humisolve. Coffee growers in Kona Hawaii who use humic acids
place high in the yearly "cupping contest" to judge
the best coffee in the world, the best is organically or biologically
grown using foliar and soil application of humic acids and minerals.
